Urban art takes La Villette by storm: the monumental ‘BEYOND THE STREETS’ exhibition arrives in Paris

It’s the street art event of the year. Recognised worldwide as the most influential event dedicated to graffiti and urban culture, BEYOND THE STREETS is coming to the Grande Halle de la Villette from 27 May to 30 August 2026.

3,600 m² of pure creativity

For its Parisian edition, the exhibition is thinking big and presenting an exceptional immersive experience:

  • Over 100 international artists: from the movement’s historic pioneers to the hottest contemporary figures.
  • Exclusive works: the majority of the monumental installations, paintings and sculptures have been created especially for this Parisian edition.
  • Archives and fashion: A unique journey through rare ephemera and archival fashion pieces tracing the influence of street culture on global culture.

Celebrating the ‘Rule Breakers’

More than just a gallery, BEYOND THE STREETS is a tribute to cultural trailblazers and ‘rule breakers’ (those who break the rules). The exhibition challenges the conventions of contemporary art by showing how a movement born on the streets has ultimately conquered the world’s art institutions.

To extend the experience, an exclusive concept store offers limited editions, merchandise and art publications unavailable anywhere else. An unmissable event for enthusiasts and the curious alike.
