Paris retains its position as Europe’s leading city for the luxury goods sector in 2025
Fashion and accessories dominate new store openings, whilst jewellery and watches remain stable and beauty is growing significantly. The market is diversifying: whilst the major groups (LVMH, Kering, Richemont) remain influential, 70% of new openings come from other brands.
Property supply is extremely scarce, leading to a steady rise in rents and prompting retailers to seek creative solutions. The sector remains structurally sound, focusing on exclusivity, flagship stores and the customer experience, with a favourable outlook through to 2026.
