The Esports World Cup is holding its summer event in Paris for the first time
For the first time, Paris is hosting the Esports World Cup (EWC) outside Saudi Arabia – one of the major events on the global esports scene. More than 2,000 players, from 200 clubs representing 100 countries, will compete in 25 tournaments across 24 different games.
For the organisers, this French edition is set to strengthen France’s position amongst the leading nations in esports, whilst highlighting its expertise in organising major international events.
