The Hotel de Crillon puts on its boldest shoes: Manolo Blahnik reinvents Marie Antoinette at the heart of the Parisian palace

This autumn, the Hotel de Crillon in Paris is celebrating the timeless elegance of Marie Antoinette through a series of cultural and gastronomic events. Closely linked to the history of the palace, the queen has inspired an exclusive journey combining exhibition, art, fashion and pastry.

Starting on 26 September, an exhibition will showcase the creations of Manolo Blahnik, his sketches and a capsule collection dedicated to Marie Antoinette, in partnership with Rare Champagne.

From 9 October, pastry chef Matthieu Carlin will offer a Marie Antoinette tea time in the Winter Garden, combining floral pastries, truffles and champagne.

The experience is rounded off with Instants Privilèges, offering guests private tours of Versailles, meetings with artisans and even a photo shoot in period costume.

This programme pays tribute to the art of living in the 18th century while showcasing French savoir-faire.

The event illustrates the desire of Le Crillon, the iconic palace on Place de la Concorde, to combine heritage and contemporary creativity.
