On 7 and 8 February 2026, Paris will host an exceptional event dedicated to the art of tableware and French culinary heritage: La Vaisselle des Chefs returns for its second Parisian edition at CÉSURE, in the 5th arrondissement.

More than just a sale, this eco-friendly event offers the public the opportunity to discover and purchase more than 20,000 pieces of crockery, glassware, cutlery, silverware and furniture from the kitchens of Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels and legendary brasseries in the capital.

A tribute to tableware and gastronomic history

Since its creation some fifteen years ago, La Vaisselle des Chefs has been committed to giving a second life to tableware from the finest French establishments, whether from Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels or iconic brasseries.

In this spirit, more than 20,000 items will be offered for sale in 2026, double the volume of the first Parisian edition, proof of the growing scale of the event.

Among the establishments represented are prestigious names such as Le Plaza Athénée, Le Meurice, the Intercontinental Paris Le Grand, Mandarin Oriental Paris, as well as historic brasseries such as Bofinger and Les Deux Magots.

These pieces, plates, cutlery, glasses and furniture tell the story of French gastronomy, its great restaurants and its cultural heritage.
As the organisers explain, the event showcases these treasures, which often lie dormant in the storerooms of establishments, giving them a second life far from unnecessary storage.
In addition to their aesthetic and historical value, these objects thus become living witnesses to culinary heritage, allowing everyone, whether collectors or simply lovers of beautiful things, to take home a fragment of the soul of Paris’s great restaurants.

A sustainable and socially responsible initiative at the heart of contemporary issues

Beyond its heritage aspect, La Vaisselle des Chefs stands out for its eco-responsible approach.

By giving new life to high-quality items rather than throwing them away or storing them indefinitely, the event is fully in line with the circular economy, in tune with a strong trend towards responsible consumption observed in France and elsewhere.

This approach also has an important social dimension. A portion of the proceeds from the sale is donated to the Fondation Apprentis d’Auteuil, which supports the training of disadvantaged young people in the restaurant and hotel trades, thereby contributing to the transmission of know-how and the professional integration of new generations.

This link between culinary heritage and social commitment resonates particularly strongly in the French gastronomic landscape, where know-how and sharing are key values.

Designed as an open and unifying event, La Vaisselle des Chefs is aimed at tableware enthusiasts, discerning collectors and gastronomy aficionados alike. The diversity and richness of the pieces on offer allow everyone to discover objects steeped in history, which have graced the tables of the greatest Parisian establishments.

By promoting the convergence of culinary heritage, reuse and transmission, the event pays tribute to the French art of living while affirming a contemporary vision of luxury, where excellence is combined with responsibility and social commitment.
