Take home a unique souvenir from Paris: your portraits in a film set, directed by a film director.
At Studiorama, enjoy a private and immersive experience inspired by the big screen. We welcome you to our elegant lounge overlooking Paris’s prettiest covered arcade, the Passage Jouffroy.
Over a drink and a selection of savoury and sweet treats, you’ll enjoy a relaxing moment in the company of the director. You’ll then be styled by film industry professionals before taking to the set on our ‘Toits de Paris’. Costumes, film props, cinematic continuous lighting and artistic direction will help you create your very own storyline.
Take home your Fine Art prints in their elegant box set, along with a selection of photographs uploaded to your private gallery.
Enjoy a private photo shoot in the heart of Paris and leave with a unique keepsake: your portraits in a movie set, directed by a filmmaker.
At 40 Passage Jouffroy, one of Paris’s most beautiful covered arcades, Studiorama welcomes you to an entirely private venue. As soon as you arrive, the experience begins just like stepping onto a movie set: the “Roofs of Paris” set, cinematic continuous lighting, filming props, costumes, and staging details. Everything has been imagined and designed by film professionals to transform your photo shoot into a truly creative moment.
Upstairs, in an elegant private lounge overlooking the passage, you’ll enjoy a glass of champagne paired with savory or sweet treats. Nicolas Castro, director, screenwriter, and photographer, will walk you through the experience and discuss your preferences, your style, the occasion for your visit, and the image you wish to create. Here, it’s never just about posing in front of the camera: you’ll be guided with precision, care, and kindness.
Next, you choose the visual style for your shoot. Elegant Paris, film noir, romance on the rooftops, a Nouvelle Vague vibe, or a more spectacular or whimsical composition: each artistic direction is tailored to your personality. The lighting, poses, expressions, movements, and props are all designed to create a scene—not just a simple souvenir photo.

A makeup artist and hairstylist with extensive set experience will work with you to create a subtle look, tailored to the studio lighting and the photographic result. The goal isn’t to transform you, but to reveal, define, and prepare your features with the same care as for a film shoot.
Against the backdrop of the Paris rooftops, Nicolas Castro then directs the session just as a director guides their actors. You’ll be guided step by step to forget the camera, inhabit the image, and create a portrait that truly reflects who you are—in a cinematic, timeless, and iconic style.
After the shoot, you’ll view your images privately on a screen. A selection of photographs will be chosen for your personal gallery, and then the most striking image will be selected together with the photographer. It is printed on-site in a 30 × 42 format on pearlescent satin Fine Art paper and comes with a numbered Studiorama certificate.
You can extend the experience by ordering large-format prints framed in shadow boxes. They will be delivered to your home. You won’t just be taking home images—you’ll be taking home a photographic object, designed in Paris, that straddles the line between portraiture, cinema, and fine art.
