The Fondation Louis Vuitton is dedicating a major retrospective to Gerhard Richter, one of the most influential contemporary artists. This exceptional exhibition brings together 270 works, covering more than six decades of creation, from 1962 to 2024.
It offers a unique overview of his work, including oil paintings, glass and steel sculptures, pencil and ink drawings, watercolours and painted photographs.
All of the Foundation‘s spaces are dedicated to this exhibition, allowing visitors to immerse themselves completely in the artist’s rich and complex universe.
This retrospective highlights the originality of his artistic approach, which combines figuration and abstraction, realism and experimentation, offering a unique vision of contemporary art.
