Julien Dugourd elevates afternoon tea at the Mandarin Oriental Paris

At the Mandarin Oriental, Paris, teatime becomes a truly exceptional experience. Every day between 3pm and 6pm, the Parisian palace invites its guests to enjoy a delicious and refined teatime experience created by Consulting Pastry Chef Julien Dugourd, which can be enjoyed in the cosy setting of the Camélia restaurant, at the cake shop or in the privacy of your room.

Trained by some of the biggest names in gastronomy and renowned for his graphic, generous and balanced style, Julien Dugourd brings his contemporary vision of French pastry to the Mandarin Oriental, Paris. By partnering with his talent, the palace affirms its commitment to excellence and offers a unique and unforgettable experience.

His menu features delicate and sophisticated sweet creations: Citron Tagète, La Ruche, Vanille Pécan, and Saint-Honoré vanille caramel, a nod to the hotel’s address and the patron saint of bakers and pastry chefs.

This quintessentially Parisian afternoon tea is also available in a sharing version, accompanied by a selection of teas, creamy hot chocolate, a glass of Roederer champagne, or a non-alcoholic sparkling wine – French Bloom. Every detail of the service contributes to making this a sweet interlude, combining luxury and indulgence.
