Art Basel Paris reaffirms its role at the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cultural ecosystems

Art Basel Paris brings together 183 galleries in the Galleries section, 16 solo presentations in Emergence and 12 projects with a historical dimension in Premise. Thirty-two galleries will be taking part in the fair for the first time, whilst six galleries will be joining the Galleries section after having previously been featured in Emergence.

For this edition, Premise will be taking over the Salon Seine, a 900 m² space offering increased visibility to research-based projects that re-examine and enrich established narratives in art history.

Oh La La! is also making a comeback with a two-day rotation format, allowing galleries to refresh their stands with new works on Friday and Saturday.

For the first time, Conversations will take place in the Grand Palais Auditorium; this event brings together artists, museum directors, curators, collectors and leading figures from the cultural world for a programme of debates and meetings.

Driven by its international network of galleries, the development of its institutional partnerships and its growing presence in the French capital, Art Basel Paris reaffirms its major role at the heart of one of the world’s most dynamic cultural ecosystems.

Reflecting the richness and diversity of the contemporary Parisian art scene, the 2026 edition fosters encounters between French and international artists, galleries, museums and cultural institutions. Both within the fair and across the city, artistic practices engage in dialogue across painting, sculpture, installation, photography, performance, literature, dance, film and new media.

More than just an art fair, Art Basel Paris 2026 thus affirms its ambition to explore the many ways in which art is created, exhibited, shared and collected today. Through a selection of major presentations and initiatives, this edition highlights the links between Paris’s cultural heritage and the vitality of its contemporary creative landscape.
